In short

What the application does

MDKLSH Mine brings together the engineering calculations of an open-pit operation: block model and resources, pit and scheduling, dewatering and groundwater flow, site water balance, slope stability, rock mass, trucks and shovels, ventilation. The server edition follows the site live and exchanges the production plan with MDKLSH Process.

Pumping tests, drawdown around the pit, groundwater flow and a site water balance using local rainfall: the probability of overflow is quantified.

Installation

A blue Windows screen during installation? That is expected

Our installers do not carry a publisher's digital signature yet. Windows therefore does not know MDKLSH yet and may show the blue “Windows protected your PC” screen. This message does not mean the file is dangerous: it only reports a publisher that Windows has not registered yet.

To start the installation

  1. Click “More info”, below the text of the blue screen.
  2. Check the file name: it starts with MDKLSH and ends with Setup followed by the version number, for example MDKLSHStat-Setup-2.0.0.exe.
  3. Click “Run anyway”. The installation then starts normally.

If the browser blocks the download

Edge or Chrome may say that a file “isn't commonly downloaded”. Open the downloads list, click “…” then “Keep”, and confirm with “Keep anyway”.
